This was one of those Fridays where it was raining and only four of us showed up in the second group. Nobody felt like working very hard, so here's what we ended up with. Pretty lame, but it felt good to get on the blocks....

Warm-up: 200 S; 200 Pull; 200 Kick

4X150 IM Order; First 50 drill; 2nd 50 kick; 3rd 50 swim
8 25s SPRINTS off blocks
6X25 from middle of pool. Work on turns

Perfect. Or was it?

This workout was either a complete waste of time or was perfect. I have to admit, I wasn't all that into the idea of a hard workout tonight, so I was glad to see a lower level of commitment from my fellow swimmers.

Oh.....it was!

The work out tonight was breath taking and riveting! Nobody's ever into the idea of a hard work out on Friday.....or Wednesday.....and Monday to be completely honest. Sometimes you need to just lower your level of commitment and take it easy on your body and soul. We all need to center our chi from time to time. The workout was a bona fide mental cleanser for me, I achieved nirvana during the 25's off the blocks. The team created a lucid vision this evening, even with a myraid of workout options available.
