Volunteers Needed
We had a great showing last Sunday at St. Charles during the Superbowl meet with some unbelievable races and strong times overall. (I'll be posting some video of it soon. Stay tuned.) Lyons is up next this Sunday, a meet that's practically in our own back yard.
I wanted to put out a call for volunteers to help out with meets and with the web site. First, we need a meet coordinator whose duties are to find out who's going to be at the meets and who wants to do relays. That person should then put together the relays, fill out the paperwork and get whatever payments are needed to the appropriate people. This should be a person who goes to the meets often. (It would be great if we had two people to handle this so that if one can't be at a meet, the other can take over.)
Next, it would be terrific if someone would volunteer to maintain the team records page on this website. We've only had two meets this season, but I think we've already seen a few records fall. The trouble is, I simply don't have time to pour over the results and update the site. Ideally, this person will either send me an email with updated records, or could actually log in to the site to do it themselves. (It's really easy to do this--trust me.)
If anyone can help out with this stuff, if will be GREATLY appreciated. Remember, this team is a completely volunteer effort. It is only as good as we make it.

Awesome!
Thanks, Marilyn. That's very helpful. If you are interested in relays, please tell Marilyn if you're going, you're age and what strokes you want to do. Please tell her if you want to do free, medley or both sets of relays.
THANKS.
Relays
I can help with setting up relays at the Lyons meet. So those who are interested in swimming Relays please let me know. You can let me know at the practice on Wednesday or Friday.
