Hi, Everybody: I got an email today from one of the members, saying that it's been difficult to swim in the Summer because of the limited use of lanes and general overcrowding in the pool. This has been an ongoing problem, but it should be resolved in a few weeks.

I talked to Chris Neahry today, who told me that on August 9th we'll go back to our full normal schedule at the pool (MWF 7:00-9:30PM) and have three full lanes again.

He explained that because of reduced hours during the summer, there are fewer opportunities for any of the pool programs, and said that he has very little flexibility in terms of scheduling, or even the ability to add an extra lane when the pool is crowded. We've agreed to have a discussion next March before the Summer schedule is created where we can hopefully resolve many of these ongoing problems.

Please keep in mind that technically, we do not pay for pool time during the Summer, although the team does pay for three other quarters throughout the year.
