MGM Dominates at Fenwick

Sunday's Fenwick meet was one of our most successful of the season in terms of individual performances. While I don't have all results in front of me and they haven't been posted online yet, I'm almost positive there were scores of personal bests scored by team members. Those that come to mind  include Rachael, Chad, Lonny, Mark, Marilyn, Mary and John. I'll have more information (and videos) when the meet results are posted online.

NOTES: I've been promised team sweatshirts by Wednesday.

Team Swag

I'm about to order the team shirts for the season. This year, they're going to be really nice--zippered sweatshirts with the MGM logo embroidered on the crest. Without question our best swag ever, and of course, extremely fashionable. (Goes without saying.)

I want to make sure that everybody who has officially paid dues gets their sweat shirts. It's easy for the people who ordered online, but if you paid by check, please confirm your shirt size. (I think there's only three or four people who paid by check this season.)

I will be ordering these shirts on Friday, so if you want an extra, please let me know the size. I'll be ordering a few extra shirts and will sell these extras on this site. (Shirts will probably be priced at around $25-$35/shirt.)

Registering the team

Today, I filled out and sent in paperwork to register MGM as a club within USMS. When I hear back from ILMSA, we can start thinking about collecting dues. I'm certain you're going to be receiving some kind of email from ILMSA that chastizes me for not doing this sooner, but let me just say this: Whenever  you get an email from ILMSA that talks about team registrations, mark it as spam and throw it away. (More on this later...)
