MGM Takes 2nd At Evanston
Thanks to everybody who made it out the Evanston meet yesterday. We did very well, finishing second with 930 points. (Smelts won it with 1498.)
We had really strong swimming, especially from the 1st group, who were parading blue ribbons around the deck like they owned the place. Georgean and Wayne were remarkably strong, and we had great swims from John Miller and Scott.
Make sure you give Cathy Sajn a big hand today for setting a new MGM women's team record in the 200-yard Fly. Her time was 2:45.47. Nice!
BTW: If you don't remember how cool the team records page is on our website, you should definitely check it out. If you hover over any the records, you'll be able to see all the fastest times posted by our swimmers. You can do the same for age-group records by clicking on the tabs at the top of the page.
I try to add these when I can, but if you don't see your times, log in to the site and add them yourself. Just click on 'add a race' link under your personal records box on the right-hand column of the home page. You'll be brought to a form where you can add times for all your events for any given swim meet. That way, if you set a record, it will be automatically added to the team records page.*
If you have questions about how to do this, let me know.
Next Up: St. Charles Superbowl. If you want to swim a relay at St. Charles, send me an email with your age and times, and I'll put them together.
*One last thing..If you do decide to add times from yesterday, select the meet 'Evanston January Meet 2011 [meet-id:212]' from the meet selection drop-down box.
