MGM finishes 46th of 228 Teams At Nationals
Hi, everybody: I want to congratulate everyone for championship performances at this year's State and Nationals competitions, where MGM swimmers made this the fastest season in team history.
| News From Nationals: Fielding only seven swimmers in Atlanta, MGM took 46th of 228 Clubs. The men's team finished 24th overall, while men's and women's team members set 10 new all-time team records and shattered 18 team age-group records. This is a really special story considering how we were one of the smallest teams at the competiton. New Records I've made a lot of progress in updating the team records for this season, but haven't had time to update everyone's State performances. If you don't see your name in the records, don't worry, you can add it yourself by logging in, or just be patient and I'll get to it later this week. I really encourage you to check this out because the new system displays everyone's personal bests in every event--just hover over the event link to see your name in the record books.
Special Thanks to John Javorski, who tirelessly posted workouts and gave encouragement during the whole season. I have no doubt it would have been impossible to reach the speeds we did without his help. Thanks, John!
Summer Hours are right around the corner at the AgSchool, although I'm not certain exactly when these will be. Please check with this site, or follow us on Twitter ( http://www.twitter.com/mgmswimteam ) for updates about the new schedule.
